Beast Monotypes

Multi-layer, handprinted monotypes. Monotyping is a process of printing in which every print is unique; no two are the same. The process is like painting with aspects of block printing incorporated. This series of prints is based on imagery of human torsos merging with animal skulls. There are seven individual monotypes in this series, each subtly different. 

When choosing which monotype to purchase: images are placed in numerical order corresponding to the Beast's number.
