Four-layer relief print created by hand-carving and printing linoleum. The colors were built up in a reductive manner, meaning that the block used to print the piece was carved down further between each successive layer. The last two layers of color were printed using my fingertips for pressure, rather than a press. This results in each print having a unique layering of colors, just like the leaves of autumn. The video shows the full spectrum of prints. One will be randomly selected for you.
